Palm Beach International Airport was renamed President Donald J. Trump International Airport, and its IATA code changed from PBI to DJT on August 18, 2026. Check current reservations under DJT while retaining PBI for older documents.
Before you rely on a policy
Amounts and eligibility can change by branch, vehicle, card, and booking. A pending hold is different from a settled charge.
Which airport should you search?
The Palm Beach County airport authority documents the name and code transition. A reservation, receipt or older rental agreement may still say PBI; current flight and rental searches use DJT. Match the street address and booking confirmation before paying.
Find the current rental counter
Use the airport authority's car rental page for current terminal guidance. Then check the actual rental company location page for its payment, deposit, hours and return rules.
Before pickup
- Search both old and current codes if an older confirmation does not appear.
- Compare the rental company's location address with the airport authority's instructions.
- Ask the counter whether a code change affected your booking; do not infer a fee or coverage change from the name alone.
