At President Donald J. Trump International Airport (formerly Palm Beach International Airport) (DJT), a deposit or airport fee depends on the actual rental branch and booking. The official Avis location page confirms a place to check; it does not establish every company's price or card policy. Older reservations may show PBI, the code used before August 18, 2026.
Before you rely on a policy
Amounts and eligibility can change by branch, vehicle, card, and booking. A pending hold is different from a settled charge.
What the location evidence supports
| Check | Current evidence |
|---|---|
| Airport and city | DJT · West Palm Beach, FL |
| Official operator example | Avis location listed in its U.S. airport directory |
| Verified airport-wide deposit | None; compare the exact operator and branch |

| Earlier code | PBI; check older confirmations and the airport authority's code-change notice |
The linked Avis branch is one operator example. Do not infer that another brand serves this airport or shares its deposit.
Get the actual pickup policy
- Open the official Avis DJT location page and confirm its address, hours, shuttle or counter instructions.
- If using another company, locate that company's exact airport-area branch; an off-airport shuttle can still have airport-related charges.
- Open the reservation's payment and terms pages for debit-card eligibility, vehicle class, local renter rules and security hold.
- Ask the branch to identify any airport concession, customer facility and transport charges on the complete quote.
Compare a nearby pickup
Other airports in our FL directory: MCO (Orlando), MIA (Miami), FLL (Fort Lauderdale), TPA (Tampa), RSW (Fort Myers). This is a geographic cross-check, not a cheaper-price claim. Compare two real quotes with the same dates, car class, coverage and return location.
Use the airport versus off-airport calculator after collecting both quotes.
Save these before the trip
- Full quote with tax and optional products separated
- Pickup branch name, address, hours and shuttle instructions
- Card and driver eligibility in writing
- Photos and final receipt for any later billing question
